The goal of the Chattanooga Area Brain Injury Association’s Service Coordination Project is to improve the quality of life for brain injury survivors and their families. As such, the Service Coordinator is responsible for providing information on brain injury; referring clients and/or their families or legal guardians to qualified services and agencies; assisting clients in applying for and accessing services; advocating for survivors; developing support groups; and assisting in the the development of new programs and activities.
Who is eligible?
- Brain injury survivors and their family members who live in the East Tennessee Area, which includes Bledsoe, Bradley, Grundy, Hamilton, Marion, McMinn, Meigs, Polk, Rhea, and Sequatchie counties.
- Eligibility can continue for survivors and their loved ones life-long.
- Referrals can come from anyone…the survivor, a family member, a close friend, or a professional within the community.
